COMPERES:

Your compere for the Wed, Thurs, Friday, is LOU SAFFIRE, the self-proclaimed "Dark Lord of Cuddliness"

Honesty is his gun and irony his bullet , Lou turns his frustrations with the world into a loud , energetic and very funny performance.

Your Compere for Saturday night is JIM SMALLMAN. Jim has been a comedian for nearly 4 years, and in that time has established himself as one of British comedy’s most intriguing young comics.

A natural-born compere, Jim has an easy rapport with the audience and tells his tales with a fluidity and energy that keeps everyone attentive.

WEDNESDAY 10th JUNE - Comedy from 10pm - midnight:

Weds June 10th
TANYALEE DAVIS
At 3'6", Tanyalee is the Ferrari of comedy - low to the ground and kind of racy. She started doing stand-up-on-a-chair in 1990 after a brief but disappointing NBA career. Today she has brought comedy to new heights headlining clubs and colleges throughout the world.

Weds June 10th
SEAN PERCIVAL
From Dudley, in the West Midlands, Sean Percival is a former welder who started out on the stand-up circuit in the Nineties and has since become a regular at larger clubs, such as Jongleurs.

Weds June 10th
ANDREW O'NEILL

Andrew O'Neill isn't your usual stand-up comedian. Yes, he tells jokes. Yes, he makes you laugh. But he does it all with an innate sense of absurdism and silliness, and proudly displays one of the most inventive comic minds around today. Why tell a joke when you can sing it? Why not tell the masses about the celebrities who live in London's sewar system? Why not pepper your performance with increasingly funny and bizarre non-sequiteurs?

Weds June 10th
ROB & SKATZ
Rob & Skatz have been sent out into the community by the Government (Social Services) to Make People Better.

THURSDAY 11th JUNE - Comedy from 8-9pm AND 10.30-11.30pm:

Thurs June 11th
JASON ROUSE

Described as "the evil Jim Carrey", Jason's act is a clever combination of devilishly crafted jokes and "freak-show like" theatrics. In his eight short years as a comedian, Jason has won several awards for his edgy style of humour, inlcuding a Gemini Award for best individual perforamnce in a comedy programme / series.

Thurs June 11th
WOODY BOP MUDDY

The easiest way to think of Woody Bop Muddy is as a cross between a DJ and some of the scarier strangers who have sat opposite you on the London Underground.  Woody Bop Muddy’s “Record Graveyard” is far from a conventional stand-up act, and even further from a conventional character act.  One of the biggest indicators of this is the fear in the audiences eyes (and the terror of those in the front row) as he delivers his high-energy torrent of lunacy and insanity.

Thurs June 11th
DUNCAN OAKLEY

Duncan Oakley is the naughtiest, zaniest kid at school fused with the comic brilliance of Norman Wisdom...
"Unlike some musical comics who rely on a guitar to get them through, Oakley's routine deftly mixes the tunes with the stand-up" - City Life

Thurs June 11th
GARY DELANEY
Gary is a hard hitting, one-liner based comedian whose tightly written, original material makes him one of the most quoted comics on the circuit. Respected by peers and audiences alike his brilliant, razor-sharp and often dark lines win over any crowd and leave them struggling to remember all the ones they want to tell later. Hecklers beware.

FRIDAY 12th JUNE  - Comedy from 10.30-11.30pm:

Fri June 12th
GREG COOK
Greg Cook’s deadpan style and mastery of the spoken word led John Plowman, head of BBC Comedy to describe him as ‘Les Dawson for the 21st century’.

A prolific writer of comedy, he has several hours of tested material to draw on, but reserves the right to dish up a blistering set drawn from this morning’s newspapers. Religion, politics, sport, terrorism, poetry, the police, philosophy, royalty and his long-suffering mum have all been given the Greg Cook treatment, since he began performing in May 2002.

Fri June 12th
SULLY O'SULLIVAN

Internationally acclaimed, Sully has been declared a highlight of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival by The NZ Herald, a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman, won Canada’s Master’s of the Universe Improv Competition, and featured on Australian TV’s The Comedy Channel.

SATURDAY 13th JUNE - Comedy from 10.30-11.30pm:

Sat June 13th
PHIL NICHOL
Phil Nichol was first known as the guitar playing member of top classic musical comedy trio 'Corky and The Juice Pigs'. Phil's solo performances have earned him huge critical acclaim and many awards. He is a Tasmanian devil with a guitar, wickedly funny songs and superb improvisational skills. Phil is also a superb character comedian performing greasy fist Joe, Kenny Smiles and his own rendition of Bjork as part of the Lenny Beige show.
